  1. Haha well not really. Tide got too high by the time i got in. The left for surf was pretty insane though.

    1. looks sick. wait so this spot is better for surfing at high tide? Better skim @ low? I neeeed to know so epic

      1. Yeah better for skimming at low tide with small clean swell from what I’ve seen. Only actually skimmed there a couple times and don’t check it that often. Usually the beach is either too flat or sand too course making it troughy. I think it can get good for surf on any tide. This day the swell was really small, so the low tide was definitely better, making it more hollow and longer.

        1. niceee sounds fun. This is bodega bay right? where in correlation to the cove(only spot ive been to there besides driving past portuguese, which actually looked pretty good)

          1. Well it’s close to Bodega, about five miles north before Jenner. These wave pics above were taken on the beach directly south of Goat rock on far south end of it. You take the Goat rock turnoff from HWY 1 and then park on the cliff above by the closed parking lot and take the trail from there down. Hopefully I don’t get shot for giving this info out on the net lol

    1. Nope, see above^, but thanks for reminding me of that place. I haven’t checked it in a couple years, but maybe I should. I’ve never seen the estuary open anytime I’ve checked it, but I’m sure the waves get good when it does…
